why half of the molecules move towards the wall and a half of the molecule move away from the wall in derivation of pressure of an ideal gas ?

since their is no external force on the system the net momentum remain conserved for the system .
so when half molecule is assumed to move away from the wall then obviously yhe rest half will move in opposite direction to maintain the momentum constant .
it just like gun and bullet .bullet fired then gun recoils because their is no external force momentum conservation .
