why is irreversible reaction not in equilibrium?
Dear Student,
Irreversible reactions are those in which the products formed don't combine back to give the reactants; i.e., the reactants cannot be obtained in their original form.
Addition of acid to a metal is an irreversible reaction
Zn + 2HCl→ ZnCl2 + H2
