Penguins have black feathers that help them to absorb radiation from the sun,but this may also
cause a little loss of heat from their body.In order to compensate for this,they also have white
feathers that preserve heat and help them in camouflage.There furs are designed in such a way that
it traps the air to act as insulators.

I dont know of white but yes i know black.
This is because black and dark colours absorv light which keep the penguin warm.

counter shading is when predators can't see the penguins from different angles.penguin have black back to camouflage them prey  in the dark deep water above their tummies are white as there camouflage from preditors looking up at them from below so as they blend in with the  sky
